Tibetan Refugees

Tashi Khyil Trust's efforts with Tibetan Refugees are based among the Refuge population in India.

Our Sponsorship Programme includes:

FAMILIES & CHILDREN:
Childsren require sponsorship to make their education possible($15 per month)

MONKS at the Gungru Khantsen of Gomang Monastic University in Mungod, Southern India ($15 per month)

ELDERLY: often in need of sheltered acommodation to help with their increased needs for support as they age. Sponsorship is available, and a project is underway to provide sheltered housing for some of the first Tibetan monks who left Tibet in early stages of Tibetan migration.

 

Mongolia

In Mongolia Tashi Khyil's work focuses on assisting those who bear the brunt of difficulties in that country.

Our Sponsorship Programmes include:

CHILDREN: require help to make their education possible (£10 per month)

CHILDREN: require help to make their education possible ($15 per month)

FAMILIES living in complete destitution
($15 per month)

WOMEN'S SEWING PROJECT and GARDENING PROJECT. ($15 per month)

ONDERSHIL SUM, in the Gobi Area, where extreme conditions create extreme problems ($15/mo)

KUNJAB JAMPA LING CENTRE, from which all programmes of Asral Charity are administered. Located on the edge of the capital city,Ulaanbaatar, the Centre is accessible to both urban and rural Mongolians. This proves most beneficial in our outreach.
