mongolia
Mongolians are suffering great hardship and poverty,
because of extreme climates, droughts, famines,
and economic difficulties. Imagine being in a family that
lives in a tent, with winter temperatures of sometimes
minus forty degrees, without enough money for food or
fuel. And for children, there is a great risk of going on the
streets, where they experience hunger, health problems, discrimination
and danger.
india
Tibetan families, children, monks and nuns escaping from Tibet make the
unimaginably hazardous journey across the
Himalayas. After trekking thousands of miles they very
often arrive in India, unwell, homeless, with no money and
no means of support.
If you can spare
50 cents a day, you can help
children
families
individuals
monks and nuns
who are suffering
great depravation, to realise their
potential and make lasting and self sustaining
improvements to their lives. Sponsorship can provide essentials like food,
fuel, health care, the chance of an education and the chance of employment,
that can bring
about dignity and self sufficiency.
